Counselling and support services for senior executives and their families
By definition, the most senior posts carry the most stress and this needs to be recognised and managed. Working with a dedicated, highly skilled and experienced Occupational Psychologist, you can be trained and guided in the most sensitive methods of managing individual stress. Many executives who benefit from this service get enormous support and reassurance from being able to discuss both issues and feelings in a way that is not possible within working, or even family, environments. The therapy is success oriented and available on an on-call basis. Many other people in the public eye, including major celebrities and performers avail themselves of this important support service.
Another factor impacting the life of the senior executive arises from the frequent difficulty of reconciling work and family life with the demands of office usually having to take precedence over home life. This may lead to emotional problems, alcohol abuse, sexual problems and the breakdown of family life. We offer family counselling and life plan building therapies and workshops for the over-stretched executive and their families so that the competing challenges can be understood and managed.
Professional support services for HR management
In every large organisation HR challenges will arise that are beyond the experience of in-house management or where professional psychological support is needed. This may include;
- people experiencing mental breakdown and stress related illnesses
- people with drug or alcohol abuse related issues
- people suffering from bereavement or other traumatic personal problems
- people unable to work in harmony with their colleagues
- -people with anger management issues.
Too often, failure to manage these problems leads to ineffective performance in the workplace or outplacement of otherwise valuable human resources. We work with management and HR departments to identify and put in place effective resolution of these difficult issues and provide tools and resources to prevent their re-occurrence.
