RELATIONSHIPS

Many relationships suffer and can be unhappy due to communication breakdown between partners. An unwillingness to talk or to explain problems and dissatisfactions is the most frequently cited cause of non-fault divorces. Also, in cases where sexual fidelity has been a problem, the blame is often directed towards a lack of understanding. Imbalance is also caused when partners have differing, and sometimes unrealistic, expectations of each other.

We provide individual and joint counselling sessions and participative workshops that enable couples to understand each other and learn to empathise. We seek to help couples form a new, improved and ongoing relationship.

In more serious cases of relationship breakdown, we are able to offer targeted therapy to either or both parties enabling them to plan the reconstruction of their relationship.

Please visit the Psychosexual Therapy page if the relationship problems that you wish to address are related to sexual compatibility and similar issues.

Don't forget you can always contact us by email if you are not sure whether you need help or not.
