Many of the problems facing people in the modern world result from difficulty in coping with the problems and challenges that they have to face in their home, social and working environments.
These issues can range from a feeling of being overwhelmed right through to serious mental illnesses. Often one situation will mask another. Sometimes, one person's problems can be the direct consequence of another's actions.
What you will recognise is the feeling that you cannot manage on your own, that you need help.
We provide expert and dispassionate analysis of your situation and help you to rebuild your life using tools, techniques and support, allof which are specifically designed to help you achieve the goals that you set for your self.
Specifically we use three methods of helping you to get to where you need to be. The first of these is called cognitive behavioural therapy. This is a treatment that encourages you to confront and challenge the things that characterise your approach to the depression or anxiety that you feel. The second is called problem based learning where we help you to analyse the problems that you face and to plan the way to overcome them. Finally we will introduce you to Autogenic Therapy, a method of rebalancing the brain and body to help you cope with your stress in the future. Please see the AT page for further information.
Don't forget you can always send us an email if you are not sure whether you need help or not.
You can have a happy and contented life - it is within your own control!
